Per Langwill: Related to G&A Klemm of Neukirchen,(Germany) their probable suppliers…….While some of their BIs were possibly of US Manufacture, especially after the arrival locally of Seefeldt, most of their WIs may be ascribed to the parent Klemm workshop.(Germany)

Features:

Length of Instrument -the fife is 16 5/8 inches.

Wood -Black ebony.

Key of instrument -Bb.

Finger Holes -seem to be the same size.

The spacing on the holes is as follows:

1-2=.808
2-3=.728
3-4=.920
4-5=.730
5-6=.771

This shows that the hole pattern is not even.

Swell -the swell on this instrument comes at the embouchure hole.
